Sky View Chapel - Family Christian Center 7475 Sunny Vista Rd • Joshua Tree, CA 92252 • 760-366-9119 Enjoying Life As You Experience God

Youth Leader

This Ministry is open for boys and girls ages 14 and up. I am so proud of these teens and I know that as we go further as a group their relationship with God will continue to get stronger and stronger. Right now I am encouraging them to do a daily devotional each day to get them serious about praying and talking with God.

Our goal for this group is for them to understand that God should be the center of their world and with him they can do all things.

“that the sharing of your faith may become effective by acknowledgement of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.” Philemon 1:6

If you have teens at home and would like them involved with other Christian teens please feel free to contact us 760-366-9119 or email us at pastorabe@skyviewchapel.org

Youth Food for Thought

Listen to your father who begot you, and do not despise your mother when she is old. (Proverbs 23:22)

Do not speak harshly to an older man, but speak to him as to a father, to younger men as brothers, to older women as mothers, to younger women as sisters – with absolute purity. (1 Timothy 5:1-2)

I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, do not stir up or awaken love until it is ready! (Song of Songs 8:4)

May you be made strong with all the strength that comes from his glorious power, and may you be prepared to endure everything with patience. (Colossians 1:11)

While your obedience is known to all, so that I rejoice over you, I want you to be wise in what is good and guileless in what is evil. (Romans 16:19)

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things. (Galatians 5:22-23)

Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature, and in divine and human favor. (Luke 3:52) Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. (1 Timothy 4:12)
